APPLICATION:

The Energy Control Monitor System Procont is a multifunctional device, which should not be missing in any main distribution. The system is suitable for panel mounting and detects the load of electrical distributions and mains. It is conceived for measurement and storage of almost all electrical quantities including current and power mean values.

2nd-40th Harmonic

The 2nd up to the 40th harmonic are calculated from the scanned values of current and voltage by Fourier’s analysis. They can be displayed or printed in bar graphics or curves.

It contains the harmonic contents from the fundamental up to the 40th harmonic. The bars are given in % of the fundamental. The curves and bar graphics can be scaled. Within the graphics, some additional measured values can be read out.


Maximum Demand Control

The Energy Control Monitor System Procont is a multifunctional device, which should not be missing in any main distribution. The system is suitable for panel mounting and detects the load of electrical distributions and mains. It is conceived for measurement and storage of almost all electrical quantities including current and power mean values.

Based on the incoming pulses of the pulse input or total real power, calculated by the measuring unit, the maximum demand controller determines the necessary quantities of a given maximum. The system determines continously the mean value, actual value, trend value and correction power within a measuring period.

If the system recognizes a possible exceeding of the maximum, it checks the necessity of a disconnection with the reference of the set consumer parameters.

The disconnection is carried out with regards to the consumer parameters. The target of this method is to keep a set maximum at the end of the measuring period by as less switchings as possible to avoid disturbances of operation.

There are 64 Emax channels at your disposal. Those are connected or disconnected according to the following criteria:

Power values (Target value, mean, actual, trend, correction and connected power)
Priority and switching mode (normal, cycle, rotation)
Time settings (min./max. disconnection time, min. connection time, make delay, break delay, switching pause)

Software

The program Prorem can be used for programming, reading out and sampling of programmed, measured and event data.

Time controller

The time controller of the Energy Control System Procont is equipped with numerous varieties for the setting. With its 16 channels and 160 free programmable time blocks, it provides the possibility to realize time programs of daily repeated or one-off intervals in advance of 18 years.

Besides the consumers, also internal functions such as tariff selection, event registration and request inputs can be operated. The shortest switching interval is 1 minute. A programmed calendar for public holidays, vacation days and individual vacation days is integrated.

The available memory for further programmings of the time controller is indicated permanently.
