SYSTEM MODELS
To stay ahead of trends and to keep up with rapidly changing technology, we have included various communication facilities in our APFC / DPFC / HARMONIC FILTER Panel to enable the customer monitor the performance of remote APFC continuously and to take remedial measures in case of failures quickly.

The classification of APFC / DPFC / HARMONIC FILTER Systems on the basis of communication capabilities is given below:
Model V1 – Standard System                                                                     Click Here >>
Model V2 – System with GSM Communication                                      Click Here >>
Model V3 –System with Embedded Webserver                                     Click Here >>

Model V1 – Standard APFC/DPFC/HARMONIC FILTER System without communication features:
This basic model is used for Reactive Power compensation / Harmonic Filteration only and is the most economical model. The basic principle of operation and components used do not perceive any change. For clarity, we are listing below the important components used in these Systems:
Relay
Capacitors
Capacitor Duty contactors / Thyristors
Feeder Control MCB/MCCB
Incomer MCCB
Coil wound Inductors

Model V2 – APFC / DPFC / HARMONIC FILTER System with GSM Communication:
This model combines the feature of standard System and GSM (Global System for Mobile) communication

GSM communication facility using GSM Modem will transfer the data directly on-line to our main server for all Power & Energy related parameters and logged data. The communication will involve a Master (BARON Server) and the Slave (GSM Meter through GSM Modem). Depending on the time set, the master will call for the data from the slave and the server software will evaluate the data received for any abnormalities.

The slave system installed in a remote location shall have GSM (Mobile network) availability and the GSM modem shall be provided with a SIM card for data transfer only. Depending on the network congestion the data transfer can be affected, hence single data transfer on one day basis is the best option.

This will enable us to monitor the system on 24 hours basis for 365 days. For any performance related complaints, our main server will generate report to user identified email IDs and seletable SMS through mobile, when the performance is not as per our commitment / understanding. Such features will enable us to pro-actively address the performance related complaints.

The major components of such systems are listed below
Relay
Capacitors
Capacitor Duty contactors / Thyristors
Feeder Control MCB/MCCB
Incomer MCCB
Coil wound Inductors
Meter for GSM.
GSM Modem.
Converter for RS 485 to RS 232

Model V3 – APFC / DPFC / HARMONIC FILTER System with Embedded Web server:

This System combines the feature of standard System with Embedded Webserver

These features are available at present in meters, through Embedded Web Server built-in the unit. This embedded web server can be built with HTML (for readings) or Macromedia (for readings and trend analysis) or Java Packages (for flash operation). Based on either one of the options, the embedded web server will be loaded with the software for ease of reporting. This ensures availability of performance data, which can be read through any internet server with proper user ID and password.

In this case, BARON’s main server & Webserver Meter will operate as Masters and any internet browsing centre can be a slave, if proper web ID / User ID / Password are available. Our Servers will be configured for 30 minutes monitoring of each of such systems, thus ensuring a reliable, continuous monitoring. The embedded web server can be configured for on-line monitoring through internet directly on to the instrument without using any external PCs. The meter shall be connected through the internet facilities through ISDN or ADSL modem or wireless Internet.

This will enable us to monitor the system on 30 minutes basis for 24 hours / 365 days. For any performance related complaints, our main server will generate report to user identified email IDs and seletable SMS through mobile, when the performance is not as per our commitment / understanding. Such features will enable us to pro-actively address the performance related complaints.

The major components of such systems are listed below
Relay
